While browsing the Internet for good photography, I came across a photographer’s blog that gives some great tips. His name is Kenneth Linge.

This guy gives some great ideas, mostly about lighting, but he goes into other practical areas as well. He gives suggestions about how to work with unconventional lighting, like lighting with a laser pointer or lighting with just the screen of an iPhone, but he also gives suggestions on lighting when taking pictures at midday or diffusing light. Admittedly, his thoughts on those may be a little hard for students like us to carry out since he uses a lot of screens to diffuse light or create shade, but it may be something to keep in mind if anyone is planning on becoming a professional photographer. The element he talks the most about is lighting, but if you read further in his blog, you can tell he covers a range of topics. He recommends photographers and iPhone apps, and he also talks about leading lines and ways to travel with tripods. He even gives his thoughts on how to prevent the theft of your camera. I think his site is worth taking a look.
